Tetrabenazine Tablets are primarily indicated for the treatment of hyperkinetic movement disorders, particularly in conditions such as Huntington’s disease, where patients experience uncontrollable movements known as chorea. Tetrabenazine works by reducing the levels of dopamine in the brain, which helps to control these abnormal movements. It is also used in the treatment of other conditions associated with tics and Tourette syndrome, as well as certain drug-induced movement disorders.
