Spesolimab injection, the new and special drug is indicated for the treatment of generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP) flares in adults and pediatric patients aged 12 years and older, weighing at least 40 kg.

Ingredients: It is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody targeting the interleukin-36 receptor, which blocks its activity and reduces inflammation.
Properties: Clear to slightly yellow solution for intravenous injection.
Specification: 450 mg per 7.5 mL vial for intravenous use.
Packaging Specification: Single-dose vial.
Storage: Store in a refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F). Do not freeze. Keep the vial in the outer carton to protect from light.

Guidelines For The Use Of Spesolimab Injection

Dosage and Administration: The recommended dose is 900 mg (i.e., two 450 mg vials) administered as an intravenous infusion over 90 minutes. If GPP symptoms persist, a second dose of 900 mg may be administered one week later.
Adverse Reactions: Common adverse reactions include infusion-related reactions, increased infection risk, and abnormal liver function tests.
