- How do you take hydrochloride capsules? Dosage and Administration:
Initiate treatment with a 7-day titration:- Days 1-4: 0.23 mg once daily.
- Days 5-7: 0.46 mg once daily.
- Day 8 and onward: 0.92 mg once daily.
Swallow capsules whole; do not crush or chew.
Can be taken with or without food.
Missed dose: If a dose is missed during the first 2 weeks of treatment, reinitiate the titration regimen.
- Adverse Reactions:
Common side effects include headache, back pain, elevated liver enzymes, and hypertension.
