CAMZYOS are primarily used in the treatment of obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) in adults. It is specifically indicated for patients with symptomatic obstructive HCM who require treatment to reduce left ventricular outflow tract obstruction and improve exercise capacity.

It is also utilized as an adjunct therapy in patients with persistent symptoms despite other treatment measures like beta-blockers or calcium channel blockers.

Guidelines For The Use Of Mavacamten Capsules

Dosage and Administration:

Adults: The recommended starting dose is 5 mg once daily, which can be adjusted based on patient response. Dosage may be increased to a maximum of 15 mg once daily based on clinical response and tolerability.
It should be taken with or without food.
