Alkindi Application Scope

Alkindi® is a hydrocortisone granule formulation specifically designed for children with adrenal insufficiency.

It provides precise dosing options suitable for infants, children, and adolescents (from birth to less than 18 years old)

Alkindi Characteristics

• Ingredients:

  • Active Ingredient: Hydrocortisone
  • Excipients: Microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, ethyl cellulose.

• Properties:

  • White to off-white granules contained in a transparent, colorless hard capsule.

• Specification:

  • Each capsule contains hydrocortisone in the following strengths:
    • 0.5 mg
    • 1 mg
    • 2 mg
    • 5 mg

Guidelines For The Use Of Alkindi

 

• Dosage and Administration:

• Contraindications:

  • Not recommended for patients with hypersensitivity to hydrocortisone or any of the excipients.

Alkindi Interactions
