Dosage and Administration:

Recommended Dose: Megace® (40 mg/mL): 800 mg/day oral (20 mL/day) in adults (often once daily); Megace® ES / Megestrol acetate 125 mg/mL: 625 mg/day (5 mL/day) once daily.

Administration: Oral use only.

Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless it’s near the next dose; do not double doses.

Adverse Reactions:

Common Adverse Reactions: Reported in clinical use (>5%): Nausea, diarrhea, rash, flatulence, hypertension, asthenia (weakness/tiredness).
